This is my place to pray and write about all that’s really important in the news.
Everything from, natural disasters around the world, to what’s going on with the local school board here in Schenectady NY.
With all that’s going on in the world it’s hard to get a grip on it all. There’s, health care reform, the bailouts, and the deficit. And overseas there’s North Korea, Iran and our two wars. All so very hard to understand.
That’s why allot of us look to pundits, bloggers and news commentators. Those on the left will scoff that conservatives have Limbaugh, Hannity and Beck to tell them how to think. Not to worry. They say that because The New York Times, NPR, and MSNBC told them to.
Meanwhile those of us who’ve put our trust in Christ can gain from a higher perspective. We realize that our nation and every nation in the world are like cogs in a big plan.
We can vote and use our freedom of speech but the best thing we can do as believers is pray.
1 Timothy 2:1-3 (NCV)
“1 First, I tell you to pray for all people, asking God for what they need and being thankful to him.2 Pray for rulers and for all who have authority so that we can have quiet and peaceful lives full of worship and respect for God.3 This is good, and it pleases God our Savior,”
We may have reached a tipping point here in the USA, or perhaps not. Only God knows. But what’s more important than who is in The White House or who’s running Congress or who’s sitting on The Supreme Court, is who is on the throne of our heart of hearts. Is Jesus really our Lord?
Christians have flourished in the worst of times. The Roman Empire is a perfect example as is Red China. It may become a Christian nation in ten years.
Does that mean we should do nothing and let our country become the Antichrist’s enabler?
No way!
What it means is
as a people, as a church and as a nation,
WE NEED TO PRAY!

Just found your site, and so far I totally agree with what I’ve read.
