When Will We See This In Schenectady!
November 28, 2009
From FNC-
A needle exchange program in Puerto Rico is testing a vending machine that provides drug users with clean syringes after-hours to fight the spread of HIV and hepatitis C.
Drug counseling offices that distribute syringes are open only during daylight hours.
The vending machine program targets young addicts reluctant to seek help.
Drug users can get syringes, cookers, cotton filters, gauze and sterile water to prepare drugs for injection by inserting a special card.
At least it’s for people getting drug counseling. If they leave the program can they still get the needles?
And how long before we surrender to the drug war up here and we see the machines in LA?
In NYC?
In Schenectady!
All it Takes is one Idiot!
October 31, 2009
All it takes, is one idiot. So be on the lookout tonight. Especially if you have to drive on an interstate. Watch out for stupid kids at the overpasses.
Halloween night has a habit of bringing out The “Beavis and Butthead” in every preteen brat in rural America.
“Huh huh a-huh!”
“heh heh heh giggle!”
“That was cool!”
Thankfully the troopers and neighborhood watch will be out force tonight along the New York State Thruway. -from Capital News Nine Albany.
“Volunteers posted at overpasses will report any suspicious activity to state police or local law enforcement. Officials say 16 volunteer organizations from 20 counties will take part.”
Nevertheless be careful tonight.
Because all it takes is one idiot.

When I recently listed my favorite topics to blog about, there’s one I didn’t mention. Besides, Religion, Politics, and Local Topics, there’s one more.
Crud!
It’s crap! It’s raw sewage and all the other G Rated words I use to describe pornography. Especially the kind available on the internet. To think that much of what’s available on the web was illegal just a few short years ago. Come to think of it allot of it still is illegal.
Do these devils care? No way! They will drag your soul down to the deepest part of hell itself. They will suck all the money from your wallet your bank accounts and put you debt so fast you won’t know what hit you. You’ll sell your car and lose your house just to get your fix. Porn is just like any other addiction.
So what are you waiting for good Christian brother? Why do you still get up at at 3am to do what you got to do when no one but Jesus can see what you’re doing?
(BEEN THERE- DONE THAT!)

In response to all the attempted child abductions (Five in one month!) reported here in the Albany NY area, I’m posting a link to a site called “Peas in Their Pods” and their page,
12 Ways to Keep Kids Safe.
It’s packed full of useful ideas for when you go anywhere with your children. Print it out and post it on your ‘fridge!
ACORNS In My Backyard
October 1, 2009

- Image via Wikipedia
ACORN‘s in my backyard and it’s not the kind squirrels like. However it does involve allot of nuts.
It has seems the infamous Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, (ACORN) has their own political Party. They are the Working Families Party. The WFP was just named in a voter fraud scandal in nearby Troy NY. Right in my backyard!
Andrew Breitbart’s group “Big Government dot com,” the one’s who blew the lid off of ACORN in the first place, just connected the dots to their political wing as well. “Oh what a web we weave. . .”
The Working Families Party bullied their way onto the New York State political scene several years ago. They are the most dominant alternative party in my region. The WFP came from nowhere to displace The Green Party as the far, far left’s party of choice.
The party was able to exploit a loophole in New York State’s election laws. Instead of running their own candidate for governor they simply endorsed the Democratic candidate and won 10 percent of the votes. That gave them a gave them a reserved place on the ballot for the next four years.
Unable to compete The Green Party lost their place on the ballot. That’s because they ran their own candidate rather than endorse the Democrat candidate. It seems there are some honest far left liberals out there.
Jump to 2009 and the Sept. 15 primary elections in Troy.
From Saturday’s Times Union
“Dozens of forged and fraudulent absentee ballots from people registered to vote on the Working Families Party line were filed in the Sept. 15 primary elections in Troy, the Times Union has learned. Many of the questionable ballots were filed under the names of students and people who live in government-subsidized housing and other downtown areas. Still others were submitted on behalf of voters who were alleged to have signed the ballots earlier this month, but those people have not lived in New York state for at least a year, records show.
Many other ballot applications also include fictitious reasons why the person needed an absentee ballot, including casino bus trips, Cape Cod vacations, work conferences and medical ailments. Several voters interviewed by the newspaper said someone wrote the information without their knowledge.”
And there’s this by Roger Stone of Big Government dot com . . .
“Media coverage of ACORN and that organization’s illegal activities in New York, California and elsewhere has largely ignored one of ACORN’s most successful projects; New York’s Working Families Party (WFP).
Because of the unique nature of New York State election law, candidates are allowed to be endorsed and appear on the voting machine ballot as the candidate of multiple parties, winning the cumulative total of all votes cast for that candidate on multiple party lines. Minor parties such as the Conservative, Liberal and Right to Life Party have played significant roles in New York politics.
The Working Families Party is not about working people or families and it isn’t really a party. The WFP is a wholly owned subsidiary of ACORN. Bertha Lewis co-chair of the Working Families Party is the Executive Director of New York ACORN. New York ACORN leader, Steven Kest was the moving force in forming the party and WFP headquarters are located at the same address as ACORN’s national and New York office at 88 Third Avenue in Brooklyn, New York.”
So here’s the question we need to ask. What other elections have the Working Families Party and ACORN been involved in?
Troy NY is in the 20th Congressional District where they just had a special election last spring. This was the election where Democrat Scott Murphy narrowly defeated Republican Jim Tedisco.
The thing is, Tedisco was in the lead until the absentee ballots were counted. That’s when Murphy pulled ahead.
What has people wondering is how could a democrat in a district where Republicans still outnumber democrats by a significant margin win a race because of the absentee ballots. These most always favor Republicans since most absentee ballots come from the military who almost always vote Republican.
But it gets better! The reason for the election was because the last congressman became the senator to replace Hillary Clinton who became Secretary of State. She would be Kirsten Gilibrand. The woman who just voted against defunding ACORN. What a surprise!
No wonder Jim Tedisco’s already announced he’s running again in 2010. While we also may have a line of Republicans ready to run against Gilibrand.
“The circle is now complete,” as Darth Vader once said. And it’s running past my city of Schenectady, right to back yard in Troy NY.
Make Your Own Revolution

Hey people! My soapbox isn’t under my bed it’s on the internet!
Here’s a little inspirational music from my favorite local band here in the Albany NY area, “Sirsy.”
The song is “Revolution.”
“Make it take an army to back you down.
Cause life’s marching on it’s not waiting round
so get up get off it and break some ground
Make your own revolution!”
Dreaming Big
September 15, 2009
If you want to know what Hannity will be talking about today (And to a lesser extent Beck and Limbaugh) check out what’s on Gateway Pundit this afternoon. Sean even gave GP a shout out on his radio show yesterday.
Another place his people go to for their show prep is Pundit and Pundette. If you have those two sites open during the opening monologue you can almost follow along word for word.
Who knows, perhaps someday (Cue chirping birds and violins) in the not too distant future, a local radio personality in the, Albany, Schenectady,Troy, market will mention my blog during their, (Cue tonearm being ripped off record)
“ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!”
-Hey! I can dream can’t I?
