This is it!

They’re going to ram health care down our throats while they think they have a chance.

Pray pray pray!

Then call your senators.

Yesterday was a day filled with some good news, some bad news, and some really good news.  First the bad news.  My one horse in yesterdays race lost by over fifteen hundred votes.  -From The Daily Gazette

“Dominic Dagostino, a Conservative running with the Democratic backing, captured the position of Schenectady County sheriff Tuesday night by more than 1,000 votes in unofficial results. Dagostino, 43, defeated Joseph Lazzari, a member of the Independence Party running on the Republican line. The sheriff’s race was the only contested countywide race.”

Now for the good news.  Looks like Ayatollah Dear Leader Obama got his first setback in his goal of forcing his Marxist regime on the entire USA!!

From FNC

“Republican gubernatorial wins in New Jersey and Virginia mark a troubling turn for President Obama, whose personal efforts couldn’t stop the fall of Democrats facing a voter backlash over the economy and a notable uptick in the government’s would-be role in people’s lives.

Obama’s 2008 victory in Old Dominion had marked an historic breakthrough for Democrats who hadn’t won Virginia’s electoral votes since 1964. The fight in the Garden State was more grueling than usually accompanies Democratic campaigns in the reliably blue state of New Jersey.

So the setbacks demonstrate the difficulty of presidential leadership following a campaign built on promises of unity followed by divisive policies and a relentless campaign approach toward big legislative issues like the stimulus and health care bills.”

And now for the really good news which had absolutely nothing to do with the elections.  Which, all things considered, weren’t that big a deal for me this year anyway.

It seems Downtown Schenectady is finally getting rid of a stain in its downtown area.  The Another World Bookstore will be closing it’s doors at its current location.

Also from the Daily Gazette

“The last holdout in the bitter two-year battle over Erie Boulevard has waved the white flag.

Rocco Palmer, owner of Another World, has agreed to accept a “fair deal” to relocate his adult business out of downtown.

“We’re willing to negotiate,” he said on Tuesday.”

Even if they move to another place in the city, it will most likely be one that’s not as conducive to all the other (AHEM) activities that went on there.

In fact the sidewalk in front might be a good place for a little “Street Fishing.”   😉

Dear Congressman Tonko:

When you were an assemblyman you were one of the best. Whenever there was an issue facing the city of Schenectady you always took the lead and spoke out on behalf of those in need.

That’s the kind of Congressman we know you are too. That’s why we’re praying you’ll vote no to all this health care takeover insanity that has everyone so afraid.

Yes we need reform but this is too much too fast. Let’s start with allowing companies to sell across state lines. Or how how about keeping down insanely high hospital costs, ($100 for an Advil?) and frivolous lawsuits.

Thank you for reading this, you and your family are in our prayers.

Americans Are Racists

October 2, 2009

Let’s just admit the truth. The far left liberal fringe media is correct. We are all racists.

That’s why we conservatives disagree with President Obama so much. It’s because we’re racist.

It has nothing to do with health care reform. And how out of nowhere a 900 page bill appeared with so much material no one could read or understand it. That wasn’t the problem.

And we were not at all concerned about our president going on a whirlwind apology tour in front of our enemies. No one cared about Obama saying we weren’t really a Christian nation. That wasn’t the problem.

[picapp src=”9/3/1/f/World_Leaders_Gather_9fc9.jpg?adImageId=4630125&imageId=4435833″ width=”500″ height=”307″ /]

No one was upset about the president wanting to undo all the protective measures installed by the Bush administration. Even though for the first time it appears they really are working.

We really didn’t care about what Obama does to the CIA.  It doesn’t matter how that looks to our enemies.  We’re racists.

If we would just wake up and pray to Obama all would be well.  Or at least let our kids sing praises to him.

You see it’s not the fact that Obama is half African American that’s the problem.  Most Americans are so upset they forget how dark his skin is.

Our president is also half white.  He’s a stuck up white smug ivy league attitude graduate with a superiority complex.  That’s what angers people.

So go ahead and call us racist.  It’s the fact our president is too much like John Kerry and Jimmy Carter.  He’s a bumbling white liberal.

Are we seeing a trend?  Is this becoming like 1994?

People rose up back then because they were afraid President Bill Clinton was far too liberal than they wanted.  This lead to the Republican takeover of Congress and The Contract With America.

Are we seeing another revolution like in 1994?  Much of Obama’s  pet project, public option health care, is in deep trouble and now his favorite advocacy group ACORN is in a mess.

Bill Clinton was able to reinvent himself in time for his  ’96 reelection campaign.  He worked with the new congress and was able to take credit for the boom of the mid 90’s.

Is Obama in trouble already?  Can he reinvent himself to stop the red tide revolution coming in 2010?

He’d better make up with Bill and Hillary real quick!

Payback Time!

September 17, 2009

It’s something everyone’s been feeling for a long time now. Glenn Beck put it into words on his TV show last night. The mainstream media is no longer “Mainstream,” they’re on the fringe.

CBS, ABC, NBC,PBS,NPR,CNN, MSNBC, and The New York Times have all been in the pocket of mainline democrats for the longest time.  Their ratings have sunk through the floor as Americans look to Fox and the internet for their news.

After a while this got me thinking.  It’s not just the democrats, more specifically it’s the Pelosi/Reid wing of the democratic party that’s in with the media.  They’re the one’s who got Obama elected and they’re  the one’s trying to get his agenda slammed down everyone’s throats.

If you think about it, how else could a community organizer Chicago politics thug with little experience on the national scene successfully take on the Clinton star maker machine and win the nomination unless they had the media fully behind them.

And then it wasn’t enough to defeat McCain and Palin.  They had to run Palin out of office as well.  But even that hasn’t stopped the governor.  The more they try to keep her quiet the louder she becomes.

Now it’s all coming back to haunt them.  When they tried to make town hall protesters and tea party goers look like thugs it backfired.  The people saw right through the lies.  They ignored the “Fringe” press and turned to bloggers like “Gateway Pundit” instead.

Our day of reckoning is here.  Boycott the fringe media and don’t let up on your congressmen and senators.  Let them know where you stand.

It’s payback time folks!

Selective Memory

September 14, 2009

We have a selective memory in this country. This is why we need to be reminded of a few things over and over.

Our nation is a republic and not a democracy. The founders knew in a pure democracy a small minority could drive the agenda for the whole nation.

For example despite the fact that most Americans believe in God we have to be careful not to offend the few who don’t. We forget the infamous phrase “Separation of church and state” is not even in the Constitution.

And just because of one isolated Supreme Court case every woman now has the right to kill off her preborn baby anytime she wants. A fact the woman involved in the case now deeply regrets.

So now even though most Americans have access to health care we have to create a giant new monster government program for the few who don’t. All that’s needed are few common sense solutions. These were the papers the Republicans were waving during the president’s lecture last week.

Meanwhile what about in 2005 when it wasn’t one congressman speaking out, it was almost half the chamber booing president Bush? No one said a word about that. Yet another case of selective memory.
