Traita Scozzafava and the USSA!

I saw this one coming a mile away.  It had the stench of ACORN and The Obama machine all over it.  The second John Mchugh was nominated for the post of Secretary of the Army I knew the fix was in.

In the special election set to replace him the “diablo” Republican (Democrat in all but the label) Dede Scozzafava has dropped out of the running and endorsed the democrat Bill Owens.  From Capital News Nine.

“In a day and age where politicians rarely cross party lines, Republican Dede Scozzafava is taking a bold step. One day after suspending her campaign in the 23rd Congressional Race, Scozzafava, announced she would not endorse the man who has gained most of the support of her party’s leadership, conservative Doug Hoffman, but instead, she urged her supporters to vote for the democrat, Bill Owens.”

“Despite an endorsement from former candidate Dede Scozzafava, Democrat Bill Owens is now trailing in the race for the 23rd Congressional District, according to a new poll from the Siena Research Institute.The poll shows Conservative candidate Doug Hoffman leading the race, 41-36 percent, with 18 percent of voters still undecided.”

This means there’s hope that maybe conservatives can once again rebuild the Republican party.  Otherwise there will be so much in fighting that Democrats will keep up their strangle hold on what now can be called The United Socialist States of America.  Welcome to the USSA.
