For Rifqa and Paula 2

November 22, 2009

I’ve been thinking allot about Rifqa Bary’s conversion to Christianity.  It’s to the point where I’ve nicknamed her “Paula” after the great apostle who had his own very dramatic conversion.

It doesn’t matter what this young lady does once she’s free from her parents.  Even if she drops out of sight forever her life and testimony will have a great impact.  Rifqa is a challenge to every on the fence lukewarm Christian everywhere, especially those in our youth groups all across the USA.

It’s time to go all in people.  What if you had to lay on the line as this young lady has?  Would you be willing to pay the price like Rifqa has?  (That goes double for the youth group in my church and triple for everyone in Campus Life where I found the Lord)

Her on fire faith has already inspired thousands to remember her and all those like her around the world whose faith is tested every day.

God bless you Rifqa, we’re praying for you!

For Rifqa, Rachel,Paula

November 15, 2009

There’s an old saying,

“If you’re going to pray for rain, bring an umbrella.”

So with all these people holding a rally and praying for Muslim apostate and convert to Christianity Rifqa Bary,

(See details about the rally here)

it’s time to start believing  that there will be an eventual positive outcome from all these legal proceedings and she will be emancipated from her parents.

So with that in mind what should she do then?

For starters Rifqa could change her name from a Muslim one to one that comes from the bible like Rachel or Paula.

I like Paula because after all this young lady has one of the most dramatic conversion stories since Saul the Pharisee had his vision on the road to Damascus.  So powerful was the impact of this vision that eventually Saul changed his name to Paul and became the great apostle to the Gentiles.  His influence may have shaped the very course of Western Civilization itself.

But once “Paula” is emancipated I pray that the Christian Media will give her some space.  Maybe she’ll return to Florida and vanish from the limelight for a while.  That would be the best thing I believe for “Paula”.

Give it a year or so.  Then she can appear on “Greta”  “Oprah” and yes, even the 700 club!

OUTRAGE IN FLORIDA 2

October 24, 2009

Now *THIS* is what I’m talking about!!!

Outrage in Florida!!!

October 24, 2009

In yet another sign that the pandemic known as The Islamization of the West is now spreading like the swine flu here in The United States, an incompetent judge in Florida has ordered Muslim Apostate and runaway Rifqa Bary returned to her home state of Ohio.

Those in the know have said all along this my be a death sentence for this teenage girl.  There are those from her parents Noor Mosque who have committed to fulfilling an honor killing for the girl’s converting to Christianity.

Now is time for all people of faith pray for Rifqa’s safety and well being.  And to pray that those in the media with the most influence like, Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin, Mike Huckabee, FNC, and Fox News Radio take up her cause and to really gather public support for her.

A Ball of Florida confusion

October 14, 2009

It was hard to watch O’reilly last night. The real interesting story was on the news crawler at the bottom of the screen.

That’s where Fox relegated the possible precedent setting custody case involving 17 year old Rifqa Bary. She’s the girl who feared for her life at the hands of her Muslim family after she converted to Christianity.

If all you had to go by was the tiny attention Fox gave this story, you’d think young Miss Bary was flying back to Ohio at this very moment.

Not true!

The real story here is the thread of hope the judge gave at the last minute!

Rifqa won’t be going back to Ohio until her parents can produce the proper papers proving they are in this country legally.  Up until now they’ve been dragging their feet on this even risking contempt of court charges.

But who needs FNC anyway?!  This is the 21st Century!  This is the blogging age!  We have super blogger Pamela Geller live blogging the case as best as she can, courtroom restrictions and all.

For those who still think Fox is really an arm of the Republican Party or is at the hands of a group of Christian conservative zealots, this is all the proof they need to the contrary.

Fox News is a for profit enterprise whose main agenda is to MAKE MONEY!  This is not a criticism, it’s just a fact.  Unlike the not for profit liberal enterprises like NPR, PBS and MSNBC, Fox goes with what sells.  That would be center right news coverage spiced up with some good old sexy gossip.

So even though the Rifqa Bary custody case could very well be yet another sign of the Islamization of the West.  Or worse yet it it could be the real introduction of Sharia law into the USA.  That doesn’t matter, Fox goes with what sells.

The bottom line for all people of faith is to keep on praying for Rifqa Bary and to keep on praying for America.

Wake Up America!

October 9, 2009

How much will it take before Americans wake up and understand the threat of radical Islam? There is no halfway with this religion. Their sacred book makes it that way. You’re either a secular Muslim or a radical.

The Koran demands that all non Muslims and all non conforming Muslims convert by force or be put to death. There is no middle ground here.

This is why you never hear of Muslims condemning terrorist attacks like 9-11. They would risk being killed.

So what will it take to wake America up? What about the case of young Rifqa Bary?

[picapp src=”3/9/0/f/Fathima_Rifqa_2624.JPG?adImageId=4931728&imageId=6313237″ width=”500″ height=”825″ /]

She is a teen who after converting to Christianity feared for her life from her radical Muslim family.  Rifqa fled to Florida where she was taken in by a Christian family.

Now the courts have become involved with experts on both sides stating their case with this poor young girl caught in the middle.

Now it appears as though the parents may win. The court may decide on Tuesday to return Rifqa to her family.

If this happens what will become of her? Will her death be the wake up call for America?  Or will it be just another news story thrown amongst all the others!

May it not be, Lord!  Dear God.  May the court in Florida grant custody to the Christian family.  May this case finally shed light on our sleeping nation.

-In the name of Jesus, AMEN.

Not In America

September 17, 2009

There’s a young lady who is in danger of losing her life because of her faith. That’s not supposed to happen here in America.  This country was founded mainly as a refuge for religious freedom.  And yet if the court finds that she is not in danger she will have to be returned to her parents who she believes will have her killed.

These are not the rantings of a melodramatic rebellious teen they are the pleas of someone who fears for her very life.

NOT IN MY AMERICA!
